Beautiful Butterflies

Whenever I see the phrase "beautiful butterfly", I think of Heimlich from A Bugs Life. That character was so funny.

Well. I have some more beautiful butterflies to share. I got a new Inkadinkado stamp set. It has lots of pretty butterflies.

For the outside, I stamped the butterflies in Black Archival ink and colored them in with my Distress Markers and a water brush. I cut them out and mounted them on a panel that I embossed and inked with Dusty Concord. Look close...I even stamped the background layer with the butterflies. :)

I added some butterflies to the corners on the inside and in the back.

I could not stop there! I had to do more...

Here is a blue and yellow card using Tumbled Glass and Scattered Straw.

I had so much fun with these stamps. I even had fun with my markers for a change. LOL

Crafty Love

Well recovery from the nerve procedure took a while, but I am happy to report that I have been feeling much much better the past few days. I have been able to craft away. I have been finishing some projects that I been put on hold, but they should not take that long to finish up and then I can share them.

One of my crafty friends named Judy sent me some different types of cardstock so I could test how they cut on my digital cutting machine. I made her some flowers. She made me a lovely mini album in return. Some of the flowers I made are on the front.

She said it was alright to share it with you.

I was so honored to get this. I just love it!

Here is a short video...

I should be able to post more frequently now that I feel better. :)
"See" you soon.

Hello

Hey my crafty friends. I had another surgical procedure where the doctor goes in and burns several nerves. The recovery is rough but hopefully it will help with the nerve pain for several months.

It will be a little while before I feel like working on craft projects. In the mean time, I am going to be working on simple video tutorials to help crafters learn about digital die cutting machines and cut files. I will be posting them on my Cuttin' Up With Class blog.

If you would kike this set of "hello" captions and shadows cut files...

... You can download them for free over at the CUWC blog.
